The weather is very wet today. Lots of wind and rain. Im stuck at home, reduced to scrubbing dirty shoes.
Yesterday went to NanHua Cultural Potpourri. One ticket for $16. A real steal, so as to speak. The show itself was very entertaining and appealing. I liked the first drama and all the musicals(choir, harp ensemble, band etc.). Jason and Kenny both used their Sony Ericssons and recorded the musicals. Very good. They will send to my com thru infrared. If you wanted to know, to view the Sony Ericsson media files on com, use Quicktime player. Windows Media player sux. Apple - Best computer technology in the world. Pity they only have quality but not quantity.
During the interlude, someone managed to snatch Kaiwei's handphone. Jason and I read all his messages which concerns Vanessa. We found out that a number of messages which Vanessa sent to Kaiwei contained the word 'muackx' after each message. Furthermore, some had mroe passion than the others, as in 'muackxxx'! Vanessa sent Kaiwei 6 such messages in total. Not only that, Kaiwei replied several messages with 'muackx' and 'muackxxx' too! Kaiwei sent 5 such messages. OMG! I never knew. It is all right if the girl sent the boy such messages. But the boy replying the girl! Wow. Kaiwei and Vanessa most likely would advance to the 'Pahtuo-ing' stage...
The show ended at 9.28pm. Kaiwei, Kian Ann, Wang Jun, Zhen Yu and I walked to the bus stop and took bus no. 183. Then took MRT home. When i reached home, it was already 10! I took a bath and fell to sleep immediately.
Now I dunno what to do. So boring. If you were wondering how i got online, I disconnected the cable which connects the broadband modem to the Wireless adapter and inserted it into my LAN dock. Instant access to the Net! Then now my sisters complaining to my mother. Idiotic. Must unplug liao. Cos they are using their PC which uses Wireless. so cyaz.
Cultural Pot.

Crap
Hey ppl out there. so sorry i have not blogged for such a long period of time. my house Wireless LAN down la then NHSS LAN also cant connect. idiotic. they should spend more money on a better wireless network. after all, it is we, students, who bought the TPCs. the school sure got commission one.
Im in the home econs lesson now. there are three periods and we finished all the assignments for the semester. The teacher let us do anything we want! So shiok. Going Cultural Potpourri today. 6.30pm-9.30pm. wonder if my $16 was worth. To tell you the truth, I would prefer watching a decent movie, like A series of Unfortunate Events. I read the books and thought they were interesting.
One thing i bu shuang about is the TPC rules. we should be able to use our TPCs for our personal reasons when we are also doing something constructive at the same time. As in, listening to music while doing work, since a positive cancels out a negative. miss wong and her stupid rules. she is full of crap. without her rules, we would be able to use our TPCs during recess and lunch, like other classes. then she counters this by saying "What the other classes do is none of my business." since using ur TPC is a school rule, and she is a school teacher, it should be her business. she and her crap. if we cannot use, the others should not be able to do so too. then yue li is so committed to her. idiotic. think she is so important. and we have the right to give negative remarks about the class. without negative remarks, one would never improve. i think she is too thick-headed to think of these.
posting soon.

Movies
school was boring today. hada math test. i tabulated my marks. i would fail, but only slightly. this is a big improvment, as i had failed my algebra stuff previously. i found out my major mistake. i always ignored the '-' sign in front of a number, as in 3-4(3X2). i would think it is
3-12X8 but it should be 3-12X(-8).
aft school, i went to the libary to ask the Student VC installation ppl whether if they could give me the installation files in their thumbdrives, as i would be reformatting my computer, which would wipe out my whole hard drive and its partitions. the guy misunderstood and helped my install back the whole package, which i had done so yesterday. so i let him go on, and after he had done so, i asked him again clearly. then, he understood, and told me that he could not do so. i suppose that is because the program costs money and their company is probably scared that ppl like me would copy and burn for friends and relatives.
it was raining moderately heavily. i did not have an umbrella, so i walked to the bus-stop. keno accompanied me. watched the day after tomorrow on the bus on my Tablet. ate a delicious lunch of spaghetti and carried on watching. it was nice man, i can tell you. although there were a couple of factual mistakes of the movie.
The first mistake i spotted is this:
when the climatologist and his colleague were walking to downtown DC, they saw several ships stuck in the frozen sea, pointing out at different angles. according to the movie, there had been a huge tidal wave and caused sea levels to rise by hundreds of meters, then the sea was frozen. ships would either get crushed under the pressure of the sudden tidal wave, or sink to the bottom as the rushing water would have forced all the air in the ships out. none would be at the top. and even if the ships managed to reach the top again, they would have been either lying flat, sideways, and not sticking out of the water.
Second mistake:
When the helicopters are flying over Scotland and through the eye of the storm, the temperature is cold enough to freeze fuel in the pipes and tanks. Yet the pilot takes a good five seconds to open the window, and then freezes. Logically, anything cold enough to freeze fuel should not have given him that long. Fuel has a much lower freezing point than the human body, that means humans would freeze long time before fuel does so. Even with the added padding of a coat, a body just could NOT have taken longer than fuel to freeze. The pilot should not even have had time to reach for the window before freezing, let alone to open it and then wait a good five seconds to do so.
but all in all, it was quite a nice movie, althouh it did not make a lot of sense. just sit back watch it without thinking logically and you would find it quite enjoyable.

Canoeing
damn. saturaday, which was yesterday, was the day that the sec 1 boys brigade went canoeing. i went school by MRT, as i had to top-up my card. then reached school at 8.45pm. Shuttle bus came at 9.00am. went to kallang SEA sports club. We paired up and paddled in double canoes. at approximately 1.00pm we had chicken/duck rice as lunch. then canoed again. it was quite fun. we learnt how to accelerate, stop, turn and go side-ways. at about 4.30pm, we stopped and helped to carry the canoes back after the staff there washed them. i had a mild sunburn. lame leh. from 10am-4.30pm. tts about 6hrs, assuming that lunch took 30mins. sianz.
today, i cut my hair, so now i look like a retard. and washed my dirty shoes. kallang SEA soprts club's toilets were the worst i have ever seen in my life.
now have to do the idiotic art. wana drop it. dun see the use of it.

Test Marathon
This week is a total disaster. I had chinese spelling and geography test today. Chinese test for tomorrow. There would be the NAPFA test too after school. The test of fitness, if you will. I think the participation of the teachers below 50 should be compulsory. Many of them are so obese and inactive. I think taking Physical Education and NAPFA tests would do them some good. Especially teachers like Ms Yeo. When she sits down, her whole meaty body would shake and layers of fat are very visable. Her humongous ass spreads out over the chair. You could swear the chair would buckle and collapse. No wonder she is not married.
The good news is that there would be Speech Day on Friday, whatever that is. Sec ones would be let off at 11.00am. Very early. Us Boy Brigaders will be going canoeing at Satuday.
And i got 16.5/25 for Chemistry test! I think im in the Top 10 in the class. Sadly, my Maths still needs improving. At least I found out my main mistakes for the papers.
Miss Wong was idiotic during Literature today. She seems to have a talent for it. The moment she came into class, she let us stand for few minutes before greeting her and sitting down. Then, she gave us 5 seconds to take out our Literature worksheet. She threatened that if we did not do so, she would force those people to copy out the crappy story in the Textbook. That is so unreasonable. So I took mine out and placed them on my lap, and arranged my file's contents. She patrolled around, and soon the usual people were standing. Joshua and some others. Miss Wong came to my table and thought that I did not bring/do and told me to stand, so i showed her mine. The moment she turned away, I was tempted to point the middle finger at her back. But of course I am not so uncivilised. So i curled my fingers into the shape of a gun and fired an imaginary bullet at her head. Immature, I know. But Xiaotian laughed at Miss Wong anyway.
The poor souls who had to copy out the story. Sigh...what more harm could the torturer do more?
After school, Xiaotian and I walked to McDonald's to play Gunbound with our TPCs. the wireless network there is not bad. Xiaotian's PC turned out to refuse to connect to the network, so I was the only one playing. Soon, Yanling and Jemimah came too. Yanling ate a chicken wing meal. Then I lost interest playing as no one from 110 wanted to play with me, so i logged out and played Stickdeath's Escape from Greenville. It is quite violent, with blood, guns and all. I strongly discourage all people below the age of 10 to play the game. As soon as I completed the game, we all boarded the MRT and went back to our respective homes.
Now, I am going to revise chinese and do some last minute training for the NAPFA test. You know, sit-ups, push-ups and all. 110 All the best for tomorrow.
